About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill the part-time position of Financial Systems Analyst with duties at Wright-Patterson AFB. The selected candidate will support the Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (HQ AFMC) Financial Management Directorate, Working Capital Funds (WCF) Division (HQ AFMC/FMR). Your responsibilities include conducting analyses and performing reconciliation on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) data; performing monthly price change analyses; acquiring data and performing analyses using MS Access on information obtained from a price database; conducting economic analyses on data systems and creating reports based on the data. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing professional or technical work in financial information system management activities and/or analysis efforts.

• A minimum of 8 years experience in information systems management or analysis of commercial business applications and/or DoD/AF/ AFMC financial systems. Bachelor’s Degree in related field may be substituted for 3 years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of DoD/AF/AFMC organizational missions, financial processes and systems, information technology concepts and models, and DoD information technology reporting requirements.
• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent planning, analysis and organizational skills.
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
