Program Control

About the Opportunity

We need a talented individual to fill the role of Program Control Analyst in the AF Program Management Office (PMO) for a large, complex AF logistics Information Technology ERP implementation. In this position, the successful candidate will be required to have the ability to generate and communicate consistent program information across all levels of the Program. The successful candidate should have an understanding of complex program structures and environments. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, creating and updating PMO and acquisition executive level reports, and other reports as necessary by working across all disciplines in the program; supporting a disciplined process for managing program suspenses/action items by receiving suspenses from a number of difference automated sources, analyzing requirements, determining appropriate action officer, compiling responses or supporting the action officer with the responses, tracking and reporting suspense status using government provided automated software, ensuring response is complete and accurate before it is recorded; assuming responsibility for internal and external coordination before formal approval and submission within required timeframes; and interfacing with the client on a day-to-day basis; supporting presentations and client meetings. Work location will be on Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years’ experience in DoD or Government PMO environment.
  • Current knowledge of DoD, and AF acquisition regulations.
  • Current knowledge and experience with IT systems
  • Proven experience working in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Preparation/delivery of presentations and reports using MS office products.
  • Ability to obtain a NAC.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting a major acquisition program office.
  • Prior experience with ERP implementations using Oracle or SAP.
  • Ability/experience with Air Force suspense tracking tools such as SOCCER, ISMT and in use of other tools such as SharePoint and Rational.
