Program Analyst
About the Opportunity
We need a talented individual to fill the role of Program Analyst in the AF Program Management Office (PMO) for a large, complex AF logistics Information Technology ERP implementation. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to, supporting the PMO in working with the System Integrator (SI) and the AF for fielding and release planning and execution of this ERP implementation. The successful candidate should have an understanding of related disciplines required for program management, systems test, training, implementation and sustainment, and AF, especially AFMC, legacy systems functionality, data and interfaces. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, creating and updating PMO plans and schedules; reviewing SI fielding/release related deliverables; supporting/monitoring/coordinating planning and execution in areas such as change management, training, data lifecycle management, testing, site readiness, legacy systems deconstruction and decommissioning; coordinating and facilitating actions across multiple disciplines; determining risk areas and identifying mitigation actions; recognizing interrelationships, dependencies and potential impacts/risks across all fielding related activities to ensure plans and execution remain on track; providing fielding status and course corrections recommendations, if necessary; interfacing with the client on a day-to-day basis; and supporting workshops, teams, presentations and client meetings. Work location will be on Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years’ experience in DoD or Government PMO environment.
- Current knowledge of DoD and AF acquisition regulations.
- Current knowledge and experience with AFMC logistics and other related legacy systems.
- Proven experience working in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Preparation/delivery of presentations and reports using MS office products.
- Ability to obtain a NAC.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting a major IT acquisition program office.
- Prior experience with ERP implementations using Oracle or SAP.
- Prior experience in acquiring/developing, testing and implementing Air Force and/or AFMC IT systems.
